Fall Catch-All 2011
"Fall" began with RAMS FOOTBALL!!!
It was also a time of record-breaking drought and heat-wave... No biggie.
This is a scrimmage. Alek has the green shirt hanging out.
We are tough. We sweat through it all!
Tiny bit of complaining.
And heat-related behavior.
Then came September. Same weather situation. Thus children are forced to have birthday parties after dark.
Remember Walt's blueberry pie from last year? Nora's friends were a little weirded out by her choice of pineapple upside down cake.
But it was still a party!
Not much complaining!
Then we got to add a couple of kids to the mix for a couple of days while their mom and dad spent some time at the hospital and presented them with a baby brother!
It was a crazy couple of days, but fun and well worth it! Baby Wade is darling. Even big sis Violet and big bro Colin agree!
Same heat. Same drought. Another sport! The Lions had a great season this fall!
And then the real uniforms were donned and the real games started!
Tight end. Special teams. Too cool.
A good friend moved away. Miss you, Lainey!
We celebrated a last preschool Halloween party and parade.
Did some general goofing off.
Bought some cool new shoes.
And performed in a cool new choir!

(just off center-right)
We celebrated a last Thanksgiving at preschool...
And discovered that Blueberry LOVES playing in the hose.
A hose that Walter doesn't like to share.
Woe! Woe!
Got it back!
Dinner time! I'm sure Blueberry loves this. She's kind of a saint.

I Love This Child
Drama. Drama. Drama. I'm bored. Tears. Please, can we go home? My stomach hurts. I don't like choirs. I'm bored. This isn't fair!!! I want to go home!!!!!
Oh... is she taking my picture?
Why are they having fun?
Maybe I need to make sure everyone thinks I'm the cheery happy kid they all believe I am at all times...
Cheese! Take my picture, too!
I'm a wonderfully supportive sister and so happy to be here supporting my brother in the Men's Choir!

The 2011 KISD Men's Choir Concert
Alek is dead center second row.
Only twelve boys were chosen from each elementary school to perform with the intermediate school men's choirs and high school men's choirs!

Doggy Doctors
Today on the way to the vet for Blueberry's check-up, Walter asked, "are the puppy doctors going to be puppies or people?"
I loved it.
