I decided to take the kids to the zoo during the Christmas break. We asked Payton to come along. Alek's buddies couldn't join us. Can you tell he's still really eager to go?
We had a lot of fun. One thing that's not bittersweet about having all big kids is NOT having to ride the carousel three times in a row. I much prefer watching!

I used to take pictures of the animals. Now I seem just to take pictures of the backs of kids' heads. But they're cute, aren't they?
