When You're Four

Your mom takes you places like the doctor's office, and you get bored.

 She also takes you to the bookstore and makes you stay in the coffee shop part.  Also, boring.

 But the food isn't bad, and if you're good, you get a carrot cake cupcake.

 But you make sure you check out all the other possibilities first.  After all, Mom's chatting about all sorts of important stuff and is going to let you have whichever dessert you choose.  If you're good. Guaranteed.

 Everyone else just wants to hold Isaac...

 And they also want me to be good, so they're friendly and let me take flattering pictures of them.

 When you're four you also have to be a lady who lunches during the first week of school when all the other kids go back to school and you have to wait for the preschool to start.  Again, boring.  But if you promise to be good, you get a whole bowl of queso to yourself!

And you get to take lots of flattering pictures of your mom and her friends.  It's part of the deal. 

Oh, and you might get a soda, too.

 They talk a lot.  And they are loud and laughy.    

Remember though... it's always better to take pictures of Mom's friends instead of Mom.  Otherwise she takes the camera away.
